The Pig & Weasel: "Where Ideas Pop, and Dreams Fly"

Born out of a desire to bring music, art and performance to the Skokie/Evanston community in an intimate, home setting, the Pig & Weasel has been hosting shows several times a month for the last several years.  Because we are a house-concert series, we do not sell tickets but pass-the-hat for the artists.  All proceeds go to the main act; Pig & Weasel does not take a cut.

To create the Pig & Weasel, Todd & Monica Rogers converted their living space to add a stage, stage lights, plenty of chairs, art gallery walls, and a lower-level intermission space.  With the help from emerging-talent-scout Chris Langill, the Rogers have been booking local and national touring acts that run the gamut of musical styles. In addition to music, they've hosted performance art, spoken word, a silent-movie night with piano accompaniment and have more quirky ideas in development.

Our mission? To foster a community where creative people connect through the arts, making what seems impossible, possible (..."where ideas pop and dreams fly"). Let us hear your ideas for new shows!  Send your suggestions to thepigandweasel@gmail.com
